Krista brings 12 years of combined professional experience and education in business and communications to the team. Through working as a Research Director, Marketing and Strategic Planning Consultant, and Copy Writer, Krista has the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully lead the publishing side of Claris Media. As editor and business manager of the Fernie Fix, the Fernie & Area Real Estate Guide, and the Fernie Winter and Summer Fix (seasonal guides), Krista enjoys working with an array of reputable contributing writers, community groups and associations and business owners in bringing these popular publications to the residents and visitors of Fernie.

Vanessa Croome, Designer

Vanessa has 15 years of combined technical training and professional experience in the field of graphic design. Her experience in brand development, website development, custom design tailored to specific client’s needs, and art direction for publications allows Vanessa to effectively manage and execute the design aspect of Claris Media. Claris Media attracts new clients through distinct and professional design, maintains customer relations with numerous full time contracts, and guarantees client satisfaction through proficient execution of jobs and meetings, reflecting on Vanessa’s efficiency as Art Director at Claris Media.
